The Labor and Commerce Committee considered SENATE BILL                        
NO. 245 "An Act relating to investments of the permanent fund                  
involving equity interests in and debt obligations secured by                  
mortgages on real estate; and providing for an effective date" and             
recommended it be replaced with                                                
                                                                               
CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 245(L&C), entitled:                                    
"An Act relating to the board of trustees of the                              
Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation, investments of                              
the permanent fund involving equity interests in, and                          
debt obligations secured by, mortgages on real
